I think a team member might leave post-Covid


Q - I think more than one of my team might want to leave when we return to work from Covid.  How can I retain them?

A - The best way to manage retention is to understand what makes your team tick, and if they are “ticking”.  You need to know how they feel about their work, which is not always easy to discuss, so a motivation profile is an ideal first step.  That way you can address any issues they have with their current role, as well as helping them with career planning.  It is also important to make sure you have the trust you need to enable workers to continue to work as flexibly as is possible, within business needs.  Don’t be the reason they want to leave!
